Tithes
Malachi 3:10 – “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
The importance of Tithing
Giving tithes is a vital expression of faith and obedience to God, as it acknowledges Him as the ultimate provider of all we have. The Bible instructs us to bring the first ten percent of our income to the church as an act of worship, trust, and gratitude (Malachi 3:10). Tithing not only supports the ministry of the church—enabling it to share the gospel, serve the community, and care for those in need—but also deepens our relationship with God by teaching us to rely on His provision.
