The importance of Giving<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Giving to the church is a vital expression of our faith, reflecting our gratitude for God\u2019s abundant blessings and our trust in His provision. Throughout Scripture, God calls us to give generously, recognizing that all we have belongs to Him. Jesus Himself taught the importance of giving, emphasizing that our hearts are closely connected to our treasure. In Matthew 6:21, Jesus said, \u201cFor where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.\u201d Giving to the church is an opportunity to align our hearts with God\u2019s priorities and demonstrate that He is the true Lord of our lives, not money or possessions.<\/p>

Jesus also spoke about the joy and rewards of giving with a sincere and generous heart. In Luke 6:38, He said, \u201cGive, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.\u201d This promise reminds us that our generosity reflects God\u2019s generosity toward us. When we give, we participate in God\u2019s economy of blessing, not just in material ways, but spiritually as well. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, the Apostle Paul echoes Jesus\u2019 teaching, saying, \u201cEach of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.\u201d Giving to the church is not about the amount, but about the attitude of our hearts. As we give, we reflect Christ\u2019s love and generosity, participating in His mission to bring the gospel to the world and build up the body of Christ<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
